๐ช๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐: A Comprehensive Resource for Cornea Surgeries ๐ฅ๐๏ธ
โThese videos will get rotten in your hard disk.โ These words were a mix of satire and wisdom from my mentor, Dr. Virender Singh Sangwan, during one of our virtual morning runs. He had urged me, more than once, to share my cornea surgery videos for the benefit of others. Despite his persistence, I kept delaying the ideaโuntil that subtle sarcasm hit me differently this time. ๐
Later that day, as I reflected on it, I confronted my own resistance. The honest thoughts were uncomfortable:
๐ญ These are โmyโ videos; why should I share them?
๐ญ What if others learn from them and I lose my edge?
๐ญ I could present them at conferences and maybe win awards.
๐ญ Perhaps, I could even monetize them instead of making them free.
But something shifted once I brought these thoughts to the surface and shared them with my wife and Dr. Sangwan. As I delved deeper, the roadblocks simply fizzled away. Thatโs how โCornea Coloursโ was bornโwith the aim of creating a valuable resource for budding cornea surgeons.
Time constraints were still a challenge, but Dr. Sangwanโs advice came through again: I delegated the video compilation to my fellows, who gained a deeper understanding of each surgical step in the process. Iโm still working on expanding this project, but I hope to increase the output tenfold!
๐ฅ Iโm excited to share a PDF with links to all these videos. You can simply download the pdf and press on the clickable link.
Do feel free to share any queries about any video, and Iโll be happy to respond!
Letโs keep the spirit of learning alive! ๐๐
