Glaucoma Basics Workshop 2025
LJ Eye Institute, Ambala, successfully hosted the Glaucoma Basics Workshop 2025, an educational event aimed at spreading awareness and advancing knowledge about glaucoma management. The workshop brought together eye specialists, optometrists, and medical students to discuss early detection, diagnosis, and the latest treatment options for glaucoma — one of the leading causes of irreversible blindness worldwide.
The session covered key topics such as intraocular pressure measurement, optic nerve evaluation, and the role of advanced imaging technology in glaucoma diagnosis. Live demonstrations and interactive discussions helped participants gain hands-on experience and clinical insights into managing glaucoma effectively.
Led by experienced ophthalmologists at LJEI Ambala, the workshop emphasized the importance of regular eye checkups, especially for individuals above 40 and those with a family history of glaucoma.
