DSEK in a Day 2025 Workshop
LJ Eye Institute, Ambala, proudly organized the “DSEK in a Day 2025 Workshop”, focusing on the latest advancements in Descemet’s Stripping Endothelial Keratoplasty (DSEK) — a modern corneal transplant technique that restores vision with faster recovery and minimal discomfort.
The workshop brought together leading cornea specialists, surgeons, and postgraduate students to explore the science and precision behind DSEK. Participants observed live surgical demonstrations, case discussions, and hands-on learning sessions conducted by expert cornea surgeons at LJEI Ambala. The event highlighted the institute’s commitment to continuous education and its leadership in advanced eye care.
Through this workshop, doctors learned about innovative surgical instruments, patient selection criteria, post-surgery management, and ways to achieve excellent visual outcomes within just one day of surgery.
