Refractive errors can develop at any age, so timely eye examination in children is desirable. The can easily be corrected with glasses. If the glass power is plus, the condition is called hypermetropia while its called myopia in case of minus glasses. If the child has cylindrical power( rays of light focus differently in different axes), then the condition is called astigmatism.
